Domestic and industrial refrigeration systems are used everywhere to preserve and store perishable items. Most of these systems are based on vapor-compression (VC) gas refrigeration cycle. This course will introduce single and multi-stage VC systems, different types of refrigerants used in these systems and the various parameters that are used to evaluate their performance. It will give participants hands-on experience in designing refrigeration systems using the CoolPack® software.
