The primary focus of this micro-credential is on definitions and characteristics of different cryptography terminologies and the various cryptographic algorithms, including public and private key cryptosystems. Other concepts in the field of cryptography such as key distribution, stream ciphers, and block ciphers including AES, and DES will be introduced. This course presents modern cryptographic related applications, as well as message authentication, and digital signatures.
